Toronto is home to Canada’s the largest and most diverse concentration of nonprofit organizations—a collective force that translates into $14 Billion in annual revenue and over 8% of Toronto’s GDP. While our shared impact is profound, historically, cross-sector collaboration has been limited.
In 2019, 19 diverse nonprofit organizations came together to develop a city-wide network of nonprofits known as the Toronto Nonprofit Network (TNN). We exist to bring the diverse voices of the city’s nonprofit sector to government, funders, and business to create and influence systemic change. To date, over 300 nonprofit organizations, representing a wide range of sector including social services, arts and culture, health, education, and sports and recreation have indicated an interest in working together as a sector.
