Our Impact

The Toronto Nonprofit Network (TNN) was founded by 19 organizations who sought to foster greater cooperation among Canada’s largest and most varied concentration of nonprofits. To date, over 400 nonprofits, collectives, and groups, representing a wide range of sectors, have joined the network.

Throughout the pandemic, Toronto’s nonprofit sector rallied in the face of a profoundly complex operating environment and rapidly evolving social, political and economic landscapes. The people who make up this sector, be they essential service providers, human rights advocates, or social capital builders, have shown tremendous resiliency, dedication and courage.

All the while, TNN has worked hard to bring the sector’s diverse voices to government, funders, and business to create and influence systemic change. We’ve done this by sharing trends, insights, and resources, conducting research into systemic problems, collaborating on solutions, and advocating for our sector’s needs.

Our 2022 Impact Report captures TNN’s strategic priorities and accomplishments over the past three years. With it, we aim to educate stakeholders on the profound role our collective network holds in community
